It's on the Cards!

It has been said that the tarot cards contain the entire secrets of the universe. When you allow your soul to open up the door, the ancient symbols of the tarot will magically reveal themselves to you.

The tarot as we recognize it today dates back to fourteenth-century Italy where a nobleman had a hand-painted deck made to commemorate his daughter’s marriage. There are, however, many historical documents to confirm the use of the tarot before that time.

When beginning to learn about the Tarot, it is important to realize that there is no right nor wrong way of doing things. Each of us has our own unique way of interpretation as do the many writers of Tarot books. An element of ritual is also useful as it provides you with a structure for focus and helps the querier to settle and you to tap into the subconscious.

On the workshop you will learn the basic building blocks of tarot, how the deck is put together, how to get ready for and handle the cards, and how to organize a reading. You will also learn the meanings for each of the 78 cards in the deck.

As you learn and grow in confidence, you will begin to use more spreads. You will unleash intuitive responses to impressions coming from the person you are reading for. Your ability to channel will heighten as you become familiar with the wonderfully subtle messages relayed through the cards.

The techniques that you will learn on my workshops are techniques that I know work. If you attend regularly and follow through, you will experience an astonishing spurt in your spiritual wisdom and growth.

I have found the Waite deck to be the most suitable for beginners. Its simplicity is excellent to stimulate tarot students to learn more easily.
